Can you believe that it is the third quarter? Their first year of school is half completed! The kindergarteners are going to have a great time with "The Great Big World", our new theme for this quarter. We will learn about the weather around our world and how it affects us and animals. We will learn around animals, from north pole to south pole. We will have a fun filled "Farm Day" to kick off our studies about the animals that are the most important to us. We will also be preforming three of the cutest little farm animal plays that PEC has to offer. We will need to take a little break from the animals to learn about our famous presidents, George Washington and Abraham Lincoln though, as our state celebrates 100 years of statehood.Fear not though, we will return to the farm to learn about the crops that they supply us with, just in time for the warmer weather to return to Surprise. We also will be kicking off our annual "PEC Box Top Derby". We have been collecting Box Tops since school began, but now is the time to call on every family member to join the "fight". We need more Box Tops! We may need someone or two to glue all those little tops to our official entry "Racing Certificates". If you have time, come join the fun in Ms. Monico's class. No two days are the same.Dates to Remember Feb. 15th - The Three Piggy Opera at 6:00 pm- 6:45 pm in the MPRFeb. 17th - Farm Day Activities on campus
