All About Mr. Schneider!

Welcome! My name is Mr. Schneider and I am happy to be your child’s sixth
grade teacher for the 2011-2012 school year.

I am a graduate from Ottawa University in Phoenix, Arizona where I received
my degree in elementary education with a minor in History and along with a
Math endorsement and SEI endorsement. I have been teaching for five years now
with a well rounded background. I have had the privilege to be a 5th grade
teacher, 6th grade teacher, taught all subject areas, and spent a school year
as an accelerated Math teacher. I just absolutely love to teach and my desire
is to inspire those around me. I am one who encourages participation along
with opinions. I enjoy getting to know my students and seeing what each of
them can contribute to the classroom as a whole.

I consider each student in our classroom to be a unique individual and want
him or her to see me as another caring, compassionate adult in his or her
lives. In addition, I hope to help every child reach his or her full
potential, guiding each student to draw from his or her own special talents.
I want to have all of my students leave my classroom as stronger human beings-
emotionally, socially, and intellectually. As a parent or guardian, you know
your child better than anyone. Therefore, please let me know of ways that
might help me better to meet my goals for your child.

Mission Possible 2!

I shall strive to be a positive role model and a wonderful inspiration to all
students in helping them to reach their goals. I will educate, respect, and
encourage participation of all students in the classroom setting. I will
provide excitement and enthusiasm for learning while listening and valuing
every child’s opinion.
