In which grades do students play recorders at PEC?

At PEC, students in 4th through 6th grades learn to play recorders.  
Mr. Myers instructs 4th grade students, while Mrs. Gordon instructs 
5th and 6th grade students. Students in 5th and 6th grades will begin
playing recorder during the third week of their quarterly Music term.  
However, they will need to bring in their recorder and book during the 
first two weeks of the quarter to be checked off and to make sure the 
recorder is in good working order and is in tune.

In which grades are students eligible to audition for Challenger Chorus?

When auditions are held in the Spring for the upcoming school 
year, students must be in 4th-7th grades to audition.  If 
additional auditions are held during the school year, students 
must be in 5th -8th grade to participate.

In which grades are students eligible to participate in Discovery Chorus?

Discovery Chorus is a graded class held during the school day.  
It is open to all 7th and 8th grade students as an elective class.  
Discovery Chorus is a semester-long course.
