Dear Parents and Students:
I would like to welcome you to our fourth grade classroom. I am
happy to introduce myself to you. My name is Jacque Larson and I was born
and raised in Winslow, Arizona (Yes! I’m a native). I graduated from
Northern Arizona University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science, Education
degree.
I came to teaching late in my life. I had always felt that teaching
was what I wanted to do; but the needs of my family required that I stay in
my job. When my children grew up and left out on their own, I decided it was
my turn and off I went to college at 51!! What a wonderful, exciting
experience—and every day I teach, I know my decision was the right one.
Each child is different and will need different strategies to help
them succeed in their educational career. I am honored to be a part of this
journey with your child. I will do everything in my power to make this year
a memorable, successful one for your child.
