AIMS Writing Test - Tuesday, April 12th
AIMS Reading and Math Testing - Monday-Wednesday - April 18th-20th
Good Friday - No School - Friday, April 22nd
Easter Monday - No School - Monday, April 25th
Parent/Teacher Conferences - Early Release 11:30 a.m. - May 5th
Parent/Teacher Conferences - Early Release 1:30 p.m. - May 6th
Field Day - Friday, May 13th
Memorial Day - No School - Monday, May 30th
5th Grade Field Trip - Thursday, June 2nd
Student's Last Day - Early Release 1:30 p.m. - June 9th
Please check your child's Agendas for; Homework assignments, Spelling Words, Schedule updates, and Notes home...these agendas should include daily objectives as well.
It is the student's responsibility to make sure that a parent see the Agenda and sign it every night.

Please bring a water bottle each and every day.
- Health/Nutrition: Students should get proper rest each night and eat breakfast to help them be ready for their day. It is also important that they eat lunch every day.
- All students must be in proper uniform; please check the Student Handbook if needed.
- Your child sees 3 teachers, please make it a habit to view all of your teachers' webpages for updated information.

Students are working on a book project of their choice for Esperanza Rising -due Wednesday, May 18th
Writing: Research Paper - Typed Final Due Friday, May 20th
Ideas, Organization, Word Choice & Sentence Fluency - Using 6-trait Rubric
Social Studies: Civil War and Timeline
*Reading Journals are required daily! Students, don't forget your headings each day to help you stay organized. Parents, please ask your child to share their journal entries with you.
