I am very excited to be back at PEC this year.  This will be my fifth year 
teaching second grade at PEC, and sixth year at the school.  I love this age 
group.  I have been working with children of all ages in some capacity for 
most of my life.  However it wasn't until a few years ago that I decided to 
go back to school and get my teaching credential.  Originally from 
California, I graduated from U.C. Berkeley with a degree in Social Science.  
Since graduating from college, I have worked for such companies as Sylvan and 
Huntington Learning Centers, where I served as both the Center Director and 
Director of Education.  As education has always been an important factor in 
my life, it was a natural transition for me to become a teacher.  I love 
guiding children through the learning process and seeing their faces light up 
when they understand something.  I know this will be another wonderful year 
and I am excited to work with each and every student.
