Mission Statement
The mission of the Paradise Honors school counseling department is to provide
a comprehensive, developmental counseling program which focuses on the
academic, career and personal/social development of all students. The school
counselors work in conjunction with staff, parents and the community to
ensure that all students maximize their potential and are prepared to take
their place as productively contributing members of society.

Notes on Credit Recovery Options:.
CREDIT RECOVERY OPTIONS:
Some students will need to find ways to recover credits towards graduation
they lost because of poor grades. There are a number of possible options to
accomplish this. Basically students will either have to take the course they
failed to earn a 70 in through another accredited program or they can use
their x block (7:30 am to 8:15) next year to make up the course through an
accredited program.
Most accredited recovery programs do charge tuition for their programs,
usually somewhere between $150 and $200 per course. Primavera is one program
that is accredited but does not charge a fee. It has to be done outside of
the school day (8:20 am to 2:35 pm).

Of course there are many more and we would be glad to pre approve your
selection.
It is best to consult with Mr. Hughart concerning the plan you develop to
recover credits. Once the course is completed and the transcript is received
by the student the course and grade will be placed on the student’s official
transcript.
