Mr. Hardy's First Grade Class

This year the students will have a different special class each day from 10:35 - 11:15 am. Library is taught by Ruth Stock. Students are responsible for the books they check out. I would suggest that parents try to have their child's library book brought back to school by Thursday. That way the book will already be there, and they will be able to check out a new book on Monday. They cannot get a new book if they did not return the previous book. Please help your child to learn how to take care of the book and to accept responsibility for the book. Also,try to remember to ask your child to wash their hands before looking at their book. Each Tuesday the students will go to computers taught by Kolena Newman. They will not be allowed to participate if the technology form was not signed. Marti McCall teaches PE. Try to remember to have your child wear tennis shoes on that day. Finally, Tina Slade will teach music every Friday. I will try to do an art activity every Wednesday. Reminder- Please no flip flops on any day for safety purposes. School policy.
