Safety Tip: Always preview all websites. 

We will use lots of websites in our class this. I will change sites as needed.

This is an easy to use site to help learn the class spelling lists. Students
can practice their words, play games and take tests. 
SpellingCity

This is a wonderful phonetic reading site. Great for beginning readers.
Starfall

An extensive math site that we will utilize daily. May also do at home. Will
provide more information on how the site works once we begin using it in class. 
IXL Math

**NEW** This website is a little easier than sliding the coins. Doesn't get so
difficult so quickly.

The student counts money and enjoy earning more fish in the fish bowl.

Slide the coins down the slide- for now the kids should not be using any quarters.

You can move the hands and check your time with the digital clock. Also watch
the sun move.

You will find lots of educational games here (math, reading, grammar). Also,
there many games that are just for fun. However, they do help teach computer
skills.

Kidportal is a collection of websites that the kids are familiar with from
class and that they may enjoy using at home.

Public Library

A wonderful resource that is not on the Internet is our new public library. If
you have not yet visited this great addition to Round Valley I would urge you
to check it out. Libraries provide a lot more than just books. 
Would also recommend getting your child a library card and visiting regularly.
