I have lived in the Tucson area since 2001. Prior to that I lived on the
East Coast for 25 years. Some of the exciting places that I have lived are
New York City and Washington DC. I have a degree in Engineering and up graded
that to a degree in Education. I have been involved in education most of my
career, having taught in college, adult learning, in the Air Force and now in
secondary education. My favorite things to do are rebuilding old cars and
flying airplanes.
I would hope each student would come to class with an attitude of how things
work. A desire to learn the basics of computer technology and what the
future has in store for you. By the end of this course you should be able to
use a computer keyboard, process items through the use of word-processing and
spread sheet design. You should be able to have started thinking about what
you want to do for a life's work and start directing you education toward
that goal.
