PROCESS/PREPARATION.
YOUR HOMEWORK, DUE MONDAY, IS TO DEFINE COURT
PROCEEDING PRIOR TO TRIAL.
ARRAIGNMENT, BAIL, EXCLUSIONARY HEARING, EVIDENTIARY
HEARING, WITNESS LIST, VOIR DIRE, AND COURT DOCKET.
AFTER DEFINING THESE PRE-TRIAL TERMS USE THEM IN A
SITUATION YOU CREATE CONCERNING THE CRIMINAL CASE YOU JUST INVESTIGATED.
EXAMPLE: BUZ PALIN WAS ARRESTED FOR THE MURDER OF SARAH
PALIN. BUZ WAS ARRESTED AFTER EVIDENCE FOUND AT THE SCENE LED INVESTIGATORS TO
THE PALIN HOME. CHARGES OF 2ND DEGREE MURDER WERE FILED BY STEVE SMITH, THE
COUNTY PROSECUTOR IN DISTRICT COURT ON FRIDAY.
BUZ PALIN WAS ARRAIGNED BEFORE JUDGE TALBERT MONDAY

DIRE WILL BEGIN. THOSE JURORS WHO DO NOT SUPPORT GUN LAWS SHALL BE DISMISSED
BY MR. SMOAK. THE TRIAL HAS BEEN SET ON THE COURT DOCKET FOR MARCH 4TH, 2010
TO BE HEARD IN JUDGE ANTON'S COURT.
