GRADING: I USE A STANDARD BASED GRADING PROCEDURE.
STANDARD BASED GRADING IDENTIFIES A, B, C, D, F BUT...
AS THEY RELATE TO MEETING
MY EXPECTATIONS. THEIR GRADE IS BASED ON THEIR
LEVEL OF ABILITY/PROFICIENCY OF EACH
INDIVIDUAL STUDENT.
EXAMPLE: A = MET THE OBJECTIVE WITH PROFICIENCY,
ACCURACY AND EXCELLENCE.
HOWEVER, BASED ON THE LEARNING STYLE, EFFORT
AND SKILLS OF THAT INDIVIDUAL STUDENT.
AN A IS ACHIEVED BY MEETING THE OBJECTIVE
(EXPECTATIONS SET),EVERY STUDENT LEARNS
DIFFERENTLY.
SIMPLY: ANY STUDENT CAN GET AN A IF THEY
MEET THE EXPECTATIONS, USING THEIR OWN
LEVEL OF LEARNING AND SKILLS.
TWO PEOPLE CAN CLIMB THE SAME MOUNTAIN
USING DIFFERENT
METHODS AND BOTH CAN REACH THE TOP!!!
