Students will have one page of spelling every night.  The spelling homework stays the same every day of the week.

Monday: Write your words 2 times each.

Tuesday: Rainbow Words. Students are to write their spelling words once in pencil. They then write each word using a different color for every letter of their spelling words. They do this twice.

Wednesday: Spelling Sentences. Students are to choose 10 of their most challenging spelling words, and use them in a sentence. Each spelling word should be underlined in the sentence.

Thursday: ABC Order. Students write their spelling words in alphabetical order. This includes their bonus words.

Friday: Spelling Test Day.   No homework.

Students are expected to read their AR book for at least 15 minutes a night. Students can log on to www.raz-kids.com to read an online book and take a quiz. They earn points to buy things for their Raz Rockets.

Students will also have one exercise of Accelerated Math on most nights.

Students can always work on an extra credit report, poster or presentation on a topic of their choice (animals,  hobbies, presidents, etc.).
