Dear Parents and Students,
Let me tell you a bit about myself. This is my fourth year
teaching at Sierra Oaks School. I teach all the academic subjects to B
Group, which consists mostly of 3rd and 4th graders.
After a few years of working as a substitute teacher, I decided
that I wanted to teach full-time. I just loved being in a classroom and I
knew that I wanted to become a full-time teacher. In 2006 I went back to
school and earned my Master's Degree in Education from N.A.U. I became a
certified K-8 teacher in 2008, and I became highly qualified to teach middle
school Language Arts when I passed the Middle Grades Language Arts A.E.P.A.
in June of 2008.
Many of you already know my family. My two sons, Morgan and Max,
both attended Sierra Oaks. Completing our family is my husband Grant and our
four dogs, 2 guinea pigs, one chinchilla, and my 97 year old grandfather
Mario who lives with us. We have lived in San Manuel for 10 years, and we
have one very busy life!
I love being a part of the Sierra Oaks family. The teachers,
staff, students and parents make up an amazing team, and I am looking forward
to a wonderful school year.
