Wow, I can't believe there is only 4 weeks of school left:
We have one last food project for the year. We are making salsa from the
garden. Obviously, we don't have enough tomatoes, etc. to make what we need
so, below is the recipe. Can you please bring some of these in so we can eat
the "fruits" of our labors. Thanks so much!!!
Salli's Salsa Recipe:
(makes four small jars)
1 Medium onion Chopped
2-Jalepenos (yake seeds out)
1 bunch cilantro
1 tsp. salt
3 tomatoes (take out the seeds)
2 tomatillos (take out the seeds)
1tsp. lime juice
Mix all together in food processor.
Refrigerate. Enjoy!!
Each child that wants to make the salsa needs to bring in a small jar with
lid.
I have attached the recipe and information about butterflies if you want to
help keep the butterfly garden going in Kelly's memorial area. Still need a
bistro set and need to finish the peace pole to finish off this project.
Thank you for all of your support this year. It's been great. I hope the
kids have enjoyed it!!!
Happy Summer-Salli
