Spelling

SPELLING/VOCABULARY WORDS        

Spelling/Vocabulary tests will be given each Friday morning. Students are 
encouraged to study these spelling words at home prior to the test. Students 
will be expected to know how to accurately spell the words and must use each 
word correctly in a sentence (showing proof that the definition is 
understood)and using the correct part of speech. Corrected tests will be 
sent home each Monday. Students will correct tests by writing misspelled 
words three times each and/or rewriting correct sentences or definitions. 
These corrections are due Tuesday mornings.

Spelling/Vocabulary words will be posted here on a weekly basis (Note: These 
groups are not listed in order of spelling level. It is the responsibility of 
the student to remember what spelling group they have been placed):
