This Week
Pizza Friday - Tomorrow is the last pizza Friday for the year.
Pool Party: Friday, May 17th at the Durante home. Students should bring the following: Towel, Sunscreen, Bathing Suit, Extra Change of Clothes, Snack: 4th: Small fruit or vegetable tray; 5th: chips, etc. 6th: drinks - bottled water, gatorade, juice, et cetera. Optional: hat, goggles, etc. We will leave at 9:15 a.m. and return at about 2:30 p.m.
We still need drivers for drop off and pick up!!! Text me if you are available. The Durante home is in the Camelback Mountain area.
Homework:
Reading - All students should read 30 minutes per evening. Students should be keeping track of the number of pages read each night and recording this on the reading log that is in their communication folder. Please let me know if your child is struggling to read so that we can problem solve together. It is very important that your child reads every night. 
Math -
No math homework this week.
Senior Projects - 6th grade students should be working on their Powerpoint presentations at home. They may work on these at school as well.
Next Week
Monday - Shadow day for incoming 4th grade students.
Tuesday - 6th grade Senior Project presentations from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Parents are invited to attend.
Wednesday - Wet and Wild for 6th grade students
Friday - 6th grade celebration 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. Parents are invited to attend. Early Dismissal - Last Day of school!
Friday, May 17th - Class Pool Party. I do need a few people who can drive students to the Durante home from the Cheryl campus at about 9:30 and then bring them back to the campus at about 2:30. Please call Amy if you are available. You can attend the party or drop off and pick up We will be having our last Pizza Friday on that day. We are asking for the following items:
4th grade students - fruit or vegetables
5th grade students - chips or other snacks
6th grade students - juice boxes, bottled water, gatorade, etc. (Please no soda or energy drinks)
We will have a cooler with ice for the drinks.

May 16th - 6:30 p.m. - Choir concert
May 17th - Pool Party at Durante home. Thanks Durante family!
May 20th - Shadow Day - Incoming 4th grade students
May 21st - 6th grade Senior Project presentations - 9:30-11:30 a.m. - 6th grade parents, please attend!!!!!
May 22nd - 6th grade Field Trip - Wet-n-Wild - (Permission slips have been sent home)
May 24th - 6th grade celebration - 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. 6th grade parents may attend. This will be a whole school event this year.
