Calendar

SNACK CALENDAR


This year we have implemented a shared snack/food calendar. Each family is
assigned a week in which to provide food for older infants who can eat some
solid foods and maybe
soft fruits or vegetables for the younger babies. It is left up to you to
choose the foods. There are suggestions on the calendar by your name. They
could include pasta plain or with tomato sauce,
refried beans, cottage cheese or just soft cheese, cooked rice with butter
or cheese, mashed potatoes with peas and carrots, macaroni and cheese,
bananas, pears, soft crackers, avocados, raspberries or blueberries etc.
Please remember that we only have 7 babies and that they do not eat a lot.
Food for a week could be maybe 5 bananas, 2 pears, one large tub of potatoes
and 5 yogurts. We do not have pizza Fridays, but if it's your
week, you could also provide one large pizza on Friday to be shared by all
of us. (Just a suggestion!)

September, 2008-- We are currently suspending our shared snack calendar because most of our
babies are not eating solid foods right now. We may reinstate as they get
older.
