How often are field trips or special guests planned?

Field trips are scheduled to coincide with the curriculum being studied at 
the time.  Although one field trip a month is the norm, we occasionally have 
a couple a month.

How does the multi-aged classroom work?

The greatest aspect of the Montessori classroom is the multi aged facet.  
The 
students learn from each other through modeling and peer mentoring.  We 
utilize the leadership of the older students to model appropriate behavior 
in the classroom and on class excursions.
