We will be celebrating Valentine's Day with the children by letting them pass out their valentines to each child on Tuesday, February 14th. Please have your child (if he or she can) just sign their name in the from part. The valentine may include candy if you wish. Do not put names on the valentines in the TO: section. The children simply walk around the circle and drop one in each child's bag, so they are not reading and putting it in.

I know it seems crazy to think about summer school already, but I wanted to give you all a heads up and let you know that I will be working the month of June. It is a different type of environment that lends itself to more fun activities and allows me to bond with your child in a different way than normal. The children get to swim everyday as well as do a special project in the Theme room.

I really can’t express enough how important it is to have your child here by 8:30 a.m. It is quite disruptive when we are on the circle as a group and several children keep coming in through the door. Also, I just feel that it is important for your child’s well being to not miss out on anything we do as a group.

One last thing, this year the sewing work is going great so if anyone happens to have fabric at home they are not using we can probably incorporate it into our sewing shelf. Also, if you happen to have an edible lemon or orange tree and would like to bring in a bag of fruit for our juicing work that would be wonderful.
