As we enter the last marking period of the school year, daily attendance is critical as teachers prepare for final and regents exams.  In addition, many teachers will offer additional review sessions after school.  Encourage your child to attend these very valuable sessions.

At this point I have concluded my parent pre-annual review conferences.  Thank you to all the parents who took time out of their busy schedules to meet with me, either in person or via telephone, to discuss their child's special education program for next year.  Annual review CSE meetings are in the process of being scheduled.  You will be receiving a letter in the mail inviting you to the meeting.  I'll see you then.    In the meantime, continue to contact me (email is the best way) if you have any concerns or questions.

A midterm in Global Studies I is scheduled for Wednesday, January 18 with a snow date of Thursday, January 19, 2012.  All students taking this exam have been provided with a study guide.  It is strongly recommended that important terms, questions and historical figures be written on one side of index cards with the definition, answer or description written on the other side.
