Hello, Angels.
Kit and I love to rise and shine in the morning and get an early start on all of our favorite activities.
I’m a morning person, just like a lark; Kit is a morning cat and just plain likes larks!
Today, we’re including you in our busy day! 22_GoodMorning.pdfHave fun!xoxo from GrandmaClick on this link for the previous activities and answers:Grandma's archives

 Hello, Angels.
We have a special visitor with us: it’s Kit’s baby sister, Jane!
Kit and I know that families are our greatest treasure.
This week’s activity is just in time for Mother’s Day. There’s also a special craft that you can make for your mom. 21_MothersDay.pdf

Hello, Angels.
Do you see the five Ruby-throated hummingbirds?
Kit does!
They’re the only hummingbird species found in Bermuda and even though they’re attracted to red flowers, they’ll visit any flowers that have nectar, regardless of the color.
My garden has lots of flowers that attract hummingbirds.
This week’s activity is just in time for planning your own garden (but you'll have to wait another two or three weeks until you can plant it). 20_HummingbirdGarden.pdf

Hello, Angels.
Kit has been busy arranging five of his toys in alphabetical order: ball, bird, bunny, fish, mouse.
That was easy. Right, Kit?
This week’s activity is just as easy; it’s as easy as ABC! 18_AbcAnimals.pdf Have fun!xoxo from GrandmaClick on this link for the previous activities and answers:Grandma's archives

Hello, Angels.
Kit's favorite sport is hunting and his favorite color is blue.
Can you guess what Kit would like me to do with one dozen blue Easter eggs?
This week’s activity is just in time for Easter; part of it is a treat for Kit, part of it is a treat for you and your family, and part of it is a treat just for you! 17_EasterGarden.pdf Have fun!xoxo from GrandmaClick on this link for the previous activities and answers:Grandma's archives

 Hello, Angels.
It took quite a lot of work, but the shelving unit we built is finally done.
I was in charge of measuring (twice!), cutting the wood, sanding it, assembling it, and staining it. Kit was in charge of napping; you can see how hard he’s working at that!
We borrowed this design from Leonardo Fibonacci, a man who really knew his numbers.
Part of this week’s activity relates to what we built: 16_NumberSequences.pdf Have fun!xoxo from GrandmaClick on this link for the previous activities and answers: Grandma's archives

 Hello, Angels.
Here in Angel Cove, we've been treated to rain showers almost every day for the past few weeks.
The real treat today is seeing this beautiful rainbow; it has created some colorful raindrops.
Kit, of course, is having a great time trying to catch the rainbow drops.
This activity is in honor of Saint Patrick’s Day and it includes a treat for you! 15_RainbowCatcher.pdf
Have fun and Beannachtaí na Féile Pádraig oraibh! (that means "Happy Saint Patrick's Day!" in Irish) xoxo from GrandmaClick on this link for the previous activities and answers: Grandma's archives

 Hello, Angels.
Kit is puzzled; he doesn't understand why this Roman lady is so uncommunicative.
You and I know that it's because she's not a living lady; she's a statue, and statues can't talk to us.
Latin is called a dead language because it is no longer anyone's native language. Unlike this statue, though, Latin can talk to us! Our language, English, can trace nearly two-thirds of its words back to Latin roots. That's a lot!
This week’s activity looks at Latin and Greek root words — what they are, why you already know them, and how they can help you to understand English. That's also a lot! 14_LatinAndGreek.pdf

Hello, Angels.
Don't be worried about the title; this broken heart is nothing to feel sad about — it's a special tile, called a "Broken Heart", that I bought for my garden.
Kit and I are excited!
I can't wait to see what the tile looks like; Kit can't wait until I remove it from the box so he can jump in and rustle around in the tissue paper!
You'll probably be excited about this week’s activity, too; it's a Valentine's Day gift from me to you: 13_BrokenHeart.pdf

Hello, Angels.
For a computer to do its work, every letter, number, and function must be translated into the numerals 1 and 0; that’s called binary code.
Kit is saying something to me in binary code. Each row of eight numbers is a single letter, so Kit is saying a word that contains five letters.
I am answering Kit on my computer; my answer also contains five letters.
This week’s activity will help you to translate what we're saying: 12_BinaryCode_New.pdf
