Dear Parent/Guardian:
Welcome to our new school year at the Technology Academy. School begins on Tuesday, September 7, 2010. Our school day will run from 7:30AM-12:00PM Monday thru Thursday. A copy of the school calendar is enclosed.
Students may bring a lunch. A refrigerator and a microwave are available for their use. Students may also purchase lunch or breakfast from the school or snack machine.
The list of required school supplies is located on our website (www.technologyacademy.org), a copy will be provided at the Parent/Teacher conference. Students are expected to leave their supplies at the school, in order to have them available the following day. Students that cannot provide these supplies by the first day of school need to talk to Mrs. Musselwhite prior to the beginning of school.
It is required that parents schedule a conference with our staff prior to the beginning of school. We will be reviewing our new schedules and the work experience program for the next year. Students will also receive their schedule and student information packages at this time. We will be available Tuesdays and Thursdays during the month of August be appointment only.
The Emergency Form and the Student/Parent Agreement must be completed and turned in by the first day of school, or your student will not be admitted to class on Tuesday, September 7th. They can be found on the website or received at the parent conference.
We will be holding an Our Open House in September. You will be advised about the exact date and time of this event. All parents/guardians are encouraged to attend.
