The Advent Ceremony is this Thursday evening.
St. Vincent de Paul needs stuffed animals for their hospital visit this Friday.
The PE Ultimate Test will be held on December 1, 2011.
The Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) will be held on December 6th.
The Thanksgiving feast will be held in the Hall starting at 10:45 on
Wednesday, November 23, 2011.
Tutoring, either before or after school and at lunch-time, is available by
arrangement - all you have to do is ask!
We are looking into having a debate team for 7th and 8th grade. I will post
more data as it becomes available. UPDATE: We were very fortunate to have
the Fairmont-Santa Ana Middle School Debate Team give us a presentation on
November 21st. Our students were very impressed with the debate and were
very interested in bringing debate to ACS.
Mom's Kitchen this Friday, October 21st: 7th and 2nd Grade. Bring soda and a
dessert.

Information on the Robotics Open House at Servite this coming Saturday
(10/15) from 9-12 noon was sent home last week and will be sent home again
this week. Please consider attending this informational event.
ITBS testing begins next week. Last week, every student was given their access
codes to a new site called IXL. Please take the time to survey this site with
your student - there is a direct reference to ITBS contained in this website
and might help them in the math portion of the test. Get plenty of sleep, eat
a good breakfast and try not to be absent as we will test for the first couple
of hours every morning.
Last week, Fr. David asked all students to learn the "Hail Holy Queen" (Salve
Regina). Please aid your student in committing this prayer to memory.
Welcome Back! This is going to be an exciting year. There are a few changes
this year: I will be doing 7th Grade Pre-Algebra, 8th Grade Algebra, 7th and
8th Grade Science - this year including a Lab. Mrs Makhlouf will be doing
Religion for 5-8th Grades.
