Welcome to 4th Grade!

Dear Parents and Guardians,

   Thank you for the opportunity to be your child's teacher! I am very pleased to join you as partners in your child's education. I believe we can work together to make this a successful experience for your son or daughter.
   I graduated from California State University, Long Beach in 1986 where I pursued my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential with a major in English and Mathematics. After, I taught for Downey Unified School District and Fairmont Private Schools. This is my 15th year teaching fourth grade!
   I am looking forward to getting to know each of you. Sharing your child's enthusiasm and enriching his/her enjoyment for learning will be my deepest reward. I have enjoyed getting to know your child these past few months, and am excited about the remainder of the school year. I believe we can work together to make this a successful experience for your son or daughter.
   Please be assured that it is my intention to make your child's learning experience a positive one. Your child is very special to me. Should you have any concerns that need to be addressed, please e-mail me so we can schedule an appointment. I appreciate the parental support I have received to date, in the form of visits to the classroom or e-mails. I encourage you to continue these open lines of communication.
