Each student in our
classroom will have an opportunity to bring snacks for the class two weeks
this year. One of these special weeks the child will be Superstar of the Week
and bring snacks and then the next time they are just in charge of snacks.
Having a Superstar of the Week will allow us to get to know each student in
our classroom a little bit better! As the Superstar of the Week , the student
will be asked to bring in a few items to share with classmates. These items
should be sent to school on Monday to stay in the classroom for the
week.

Monday
|
On Monday, the Superstar
of the Week will complete a poster to share with the class and post on our
Super Star of the Week bulletin board.

Tuesday
|
On Tuesday, the Superstar
of the Week will bring in his/her favorite picture book to share with the
class, or to have the teacher read to the class.
|
|
Wednesday
|
On Wednesday, the
Superstar of the Week will share a "STAR talent" he/she has with the class.
Talents can be large or small (drawing a picture, sharing a baseball trophy,
singing a song, playing an instrument, doing a cartwheel, etc.)

Thursday
|
On Thursday, the
Superstar of the Week will share their special board with the class. This
board will be showcased on the Celebrity of the Week board on Monday, so by
Thursday students will be full of questions about the special photos.

Friday
|
On Friday, the Superstar
of the Week gets to choose a song for us to sing!

Before your child’s Superstar
Week please complete the following questions with your child. After you
answer the questions display the answers along with pictures on a poster/piece
of tag board. At the top of the poster make sure the superstar’s name is
displayed prominently. The poster must show the answers to the questions
asked below but this can be done in a creative way. (Magazine cut outs,
picture the child draws, family photos etc.) Please label these pictures.
Feel free to use fancy pens, glitter, computer graphics etc. For the pet
question if you would like to bring in the pet this is fine just please let me
know so I can make arrangements. I love pets so all pets are welcome!
