Notes from 3rd Grade:
Our field trip is on Wednesday. Remember to wear comfortable, close toed shoes
that may get dirty/muddy. Students should be dropped off at Chabot Park at
9:30am. Our presenter for Friends of San Leandro Creek is starting right away
so please be on time. Remember whatever students bring they need to carry
throughout the field trip. Please make sure to have sunscreen on and water
packed with lunch. Chaperones, please come to 3rd grade on Tuesday at 7:45am
for a short meeting.
Our last spirit day is “Theme day” on Friday. Our theme is mimes. Students are
asked to dress like mimes. Please remember that free dress rules apply. Friday
is also a minimum day.
We will have a spelling test on Friday.

• Tell your family something you learned on our field trip today. Tell them
your favorite part of the day.
Thursday
• Study for the spelling test
• Reread your chapters for Literature Circles
• Make sure to come dressed as a mime tomorrow!
