Ballard School has been my professional home for the past 16 years. The
first nine years were spent teaching First, Second, and Third Grades.
Following that I spent four years in the Fifth Grade. For the past two years,
and currently, I have been back in Second Grade. Prior to coming to
Ballard School, I taught Pre-Kindergarten and Preschool at Rainbow School
in Goleta, and Kindergarten at Hermosa Valley School in Hermosa Beach.
My continued experiences in the classroom, as both
teacher and pupil, have brought me great professional and personal
satisfaction. I anticipate another wonderfully fulfilling year with your
students.
My goal as a teacher is to help students learn how to problem solve, think for themselves, and love
being creative.
