HOW DOES MY CHILD TURN IN HOMEWORK AND HOW MUCH HOMEWORK IS THERE?

Every Monday, a folder that I provide goes home. It contains
information, fliers, and a packet of homework. This
is not returned, even if finished early, until Friday. However,
the folder and reading book is returned daily. When they arrive,
they will take their folder out of their backpacks and put it in
the holder on my desk. If you have a note or money, etc. put it
in the front right pocket. This way I am sure to see it and
respond. If I need to send you a note, I will also put it on the
right side. Only your child's homework, written work, or test
go on the left side. Please be sure to correct each page and
place a check on the tope right corner of the corrected page.
This will be a tremendous help to me. If we work together, this
will be a very successful school year!

How will I know how my child does on their test?

Every Monday, with their homework packet, they will receive a
progress report. At first, we will not have alot of grades. As
the weeks go by, you'll start to see grade scores, including a
Citizenship grade. This way you will know how their doing and
what areas of study to help them with. Don't worry if a progress
report is not sent home. Sometimes something comes up and I
can't get to it.

Of course, we will have conferences too. I'll be sending home a
conference slip sometime in November. Our first conference will
be November 19th and 20th. The 19th will be a half day and the
20th will be a full day of conferences but no school. *Childcare
will be available.
