I grew up in the south and have lived in Blytheville Arkansas, Memphis
Tennessee, Vicksburg Mississippi and New Orleans Louisisana. My husband,
Steve, and I have lived in California for 26 years. We have two sons, Ron
age 24 and Josh who is in 7th grade here at Bethany.
I graduated from the Memphis College of Art with a BA in Fine Art. I
received my teaching credential from California State University Dominguez
Hills and completed my Masters Degree in Education and curriculum
development at California State University Dominguez Hills. I completed my
colloquy in January of 2009, which is a degree in
Lutheran theology.
This is my 23rd year of teaching. I am looking forward to teaching first
grade this year and returning to my old classroom!
My goal for our class is to create in them a love for learning,
to become wonderful readers and writers, and to share the love of
Jesus.
