My name is Julie Olsen and this is my 7th year of teaching. I grew up in
El Dorado Hills and then I went to the University of San Diego where I earned
my BA and my teaching credential. I also have my Masters Degree in teaching.
I really enjoy teaching 4th grade, although it is a year of a lot of change
for students and parents.
I am also married and I have a 3 year old daughter named Bailie. I enjoy
reading, running and soccer.
I have one brother who is a neurosurgeon and I have two step-brothers
and one step-sister who is also a teacher in our school district.
I look forward to getting to know all of you.
I believe that all students are capable of learning. But I do not believe in
excuses. An education must come first and kids need their parents support
and attention.
