Chumash Projects
Ms. Scheimer’s 3rd graders have been using Project Based Learning and
Information Literacy to create Chumash Research Projects.
We would like to invite you to come to Room M-2 on Friday, February 10th at
1:35pm, so that we can share with you what we have learned.

Secret Valentine
We will have a Valentine’s party in room M-2 from 1:30-2:30pm on Tuesday,
February 14th. Each child has a Secret Valentine and an information form
about their Secret Valentine that is being sent home today. I would like you
and your child to buy or make a few inexpensive gifts using the information
about the Secret Valentine, if possible. The students will not need to buy
or make valentines for every student in the class. The students will be
decorating their gift bags and as gifts come into the classroom, they can be
placed in the bags anytime next week. We will open our gift bags during our
Valentine’s party. Please let me know if this is not possible for you to do
and I will make other arrangements. It should be a fun time!
