What do I do if I leave my math book or homework at school?
if you leave any kind of homework at school look in your cupboard and
estimate the amount of food you have and then do problems like the average
mean, median, mode, and range. Turn it in the next day. If you don't want
to do that have your parents write down a few math problems.
How can the parents help at school?
On Monday we have parents who come in and take the kids out for singing,
cooking (sometimes), and help with math problems. We could always use more
volunteers to help out on Monday from eight to ten. There are lots of other
things we would like to do.
Why does my child not have any homework?
Sometimes we finish our problem sets in class, sometimes we have vacations
with no homework, and sometimes we just don't get around to assigning
homework. If your child would like extra credit, have him/her ask for
worksheets to bring home.
What is my child learning?
in class we go on a run on the Nature Trail. Afterwards we have math till
the ten o'clock recess (which lasts ten minutes.) Then we either have a
Spelling Mastery lesson,or Language Arts. Lunch and recess come at eleven
forty, and then in the afternoon, we sometimes play outside, and do some
scince along with SSR.
