Dear Second Grade Parents,
We have successfully completed our first two weeks of school, and your
children are shining in their application of all concepts taught as ‘review’
thus far. We would like to take this opportunity to encourage ‘early to bed’
on Sunday evenings. The students are building their stamina for the demands
of Second Grade, and a good night’s sleep is critical to their preparedness
for the school week. It supports their focus and ability to process volumes
of information!
PLEASE MARK YOUR CALENDARS for the upcoming school events:
Thursday, September 22rd – Parent Orientation; meet the teacher, visit the
classroom and learn more about the school year ahead! 6pm-7:45pm
Saturday, September 24th – ALL SCHOOL PICNIC – Laguna Niguel Regional Park
11:00 am – 3:00 pm
Tuesday, September 27th – Individual and Class Pictures
Friday, September 30th – Second Grade poem ‘JOHNNY APPLESEED’ and song
performed at Assembly
We love seeing you in attendance at these school events, and of course, there
is no greater joy than the expression on your child’s face when they see you
there supporting their efforts! We are so excited about the school year
ahead, and again it is our privilege to work with this spirited group of
future leaders!
