Mrs. Perry was born and raised near San Jose, California. While
growing up, she was involved in many activities including guitar
lessons, gymnastics and Girl Scouts. She has a bachelor's degree
from San Jose State University and a teaching credential from San
Francisco State University. She moved with her husband, Chuck, and 2
children to Elk Grove from the Bay Area 17 years ago to raise her
children "in the country". She has a daughter, Briana, who is a high school
teacher and a graduate of UC Davis (which coincidentally is her father's alma
mater) and a son, Brandon, who is a senior at Pleasant Grove High
School. This is her 11th year at Raymond Case and she loves teaching 6th
grade. She brings energy, fun and her love for the Sacramento Kings to the
classroom. She believes 6th grade is a pivotal year for students, and
strives to help guide them down the path to excellence.
