Honoring Our Birthdays!!!

Our school has a wellness policy and we are reducing the amount of sweet treats we serve at school. Each child will receive a special birthday newspaper, a crown they will decorate themselves, and a sticker on their birthday. In addition, we will sing Happy Birthday, along with another special birthday song, Happy Birthday Little Star. Summer birthdays will be celebrated in June.

In honor of your child's birthday, she/he will have the opportunity to make & bake a healthy treat for his/her classmates! We will combine birthdays, baking once a month. I will contact parents in advance and let them know when we will do the monthly baking, and invite parents who wish to, to bring in ingredients for the baking as well.
