Behavior Policy:
Students will be given four verbal warnings. After four warnings are given in
one day, a detention will be issued. Detentions will be served the following
day. The location of the detention will be noted on the form. Students will
no longer need to miss a recess for inappropriate behavior.
The class is currently working towards a class party with our marble jar!
Homework Policy:
All homework is due at 8:45 A.M. Students will receive a “pink slip” if
homework is not turned in by 8:45 A.M. The student will need to have the pink
slip signed by a parent and returned the following day stapled to the late
assignment. Late assignments will have 25% deducted from final grade. If the
pink slip is not returned zero points will be given for the assignment. After
five pink slips, a detention will be issued. Recurring detentions will result
in more serious consequences such as an academic referral form, academic
probation or suspension.
Assignment Books:
Assignment books will no longer be checked at the end of the day. It is the
students responsibility to have their homework written down and completed.
Not knowing what the homework was is not an excuse for not turning it in.
