I love teaching second grade! I have been teaching for awhile now! I was
lucky to start out teaching fourth grade for three years, then I taught
first grade for nine years, and now I have been enjoying the past seven years
in second grade! Who knows what grade I will teach next?
I live in Huntington Beach with my family, Dave and Tanner. My son
Tanner is a student at Sprig View Middle School. We love spending time at
the beach, going to Tanner's baseball games, watching the Angels play ball,
and boating in Catalina. We also have two furry friends in our family, our
Pug dogs, Popcorn and Coconut, whom we love so much!
My mission is to help each child reach their full potential emotionally,
socially, and academically. Daily, I will facilitate, model and teach the
importance of a positive attitude. I will promote and instill in my
students self esteem and respect for themselves and those around them. I
will ensure to the best of my ability that my sutdents feel the power of
positive thinking and can use it in attaining goals for themselves. In the
end my goal for my students is to leave my class with and "I can do it!"
attitude and skills for life.
Together we can give each child all they need to help them to become
successful students and adults. The children and I need your help. Please
be consistent, be understanding, be there and be involved. I too, want the
best for your child, and I will give it all I've got!
