Welcome to 2nd grade!
I am looking forward to meeting
each one of you in September! The following is a list of materials, which
would be helpful for you to have and keep at school when school starts in
September. Please label these items clearly with your name and note that some
of these supplies will need to be replenished during the year.
- # 2 pencils (NO mechanical
pencils please) and box of colored pencils
- 4 large glue sticks
-crayons (box of 16 is best)
- 1 dry-erase marker
- scissors (Fiskar’s makes a nice
pair for kids)
- eraser
- markers (one package of 8 broad
tip markers and one package of 12 fine tip markers-washable preferred)
- supply box (Please, no larger
than 5”x 8” so it can fit in your desk)
- backpack (to carry home all of
your wonderful projects)
- $20.00 donation (This helps
reimburse the teachers for out of pocket expenses: Scholastic News, film,
miscellaneous math manipulatives and books for class.)
Extra optional supplies to share
with the class:
- box of Tissues
- disinfecting wipes
- ream of copy paper
- waterless hand soap
- paper towels
Please be assured that no child
will be excluded from any classroom activity if he or she is unable to bring
the above items. Again, please don’t forget to label all these items with your
name.
