I believe that education is the key to success for young students in our
society today. As a teacher, I strive to use a variety of teaching methods, techniques and materials to motivate the individual student in ascertaining his/her inner strengths and abilities while guiding him/her to discover his/her own passion and inspiration for learning. I am skilled in providing the optimal learning situation for the individual student with such practices and theories as Specially Designed Academic Instruction in English (SDAIE) techniques, the Sheltered Instruction Observation Protocol (SIOP) model, Gardner's multiple intelligences and Bloom's taxonomy. Equipped with these skills and knowledge, I continually aim to provide a stimulating, safe and imaginative learning environment that encourages each student to trust his/her own thoughts while exploring new content through innovative and effective methods that allow him/her to reach his/her full
potential.
