I was born and raised in Southern Orange County. After
graduating from Laguna Hills High School, I moved up to San Luis Obispo,
California to begin my Bachelor of Arts in History at Cal Poly. During my
four years at Cal Poly, I participated in the Cal Poly Historical
Society. After graduation in the Spring of 2002, I moved back to Mission
Viejo and began my teaching credential classes at Concordia University,
Irvine. In Fall 2003, I began teaching at Hare High and I love it! I
currently teach U.S. History and Leadership. I completed my Masters in
Education at Concordia University in 2005.
I believe that my role as a teacher is to motivate students to learn and to
make a difference in the lives of young people. I strive to provide the best
learning environment possible and encourage my students to think "outside
the box". I aspire for my students to become excited when they are
learning about their culture and their past. Most of all, I want my students
to believe in themselves and I will do my best as their teacher to help them
achieve their aspirations, one step at a time.
