Hello!
I am so excited to start the new school year and to meet all of my new
students and their families! This is my twelfth year of teaching - I've
taught 8th grade for ten years and one year each of 6th and 7th grade. The
time has flown by, and I still vividly remember my own time in middle school
like it was yesterday.
I love teaching and my students. I have wanted to be a teacher ever since I
was a little girl, and would make my sister, brother and every kid that ever
came to our house play school with me. I feel incredibly blessed to have
found a career that I enjoy so much.
When I'm not at work I love spending time with family and friends -
especially my husband and our little boy, Luke. My favorite hobbies are
reading, shopping and just spending time with others. If 'hanging out' was a
sport, I'd definitely be pro!
I can't wait to get to know each of you - I am ready for an amazing school
year, and I hope all of you are to!
