Homework

February 9, 2012
All classes
Read 30 to 60 minutes per night. You must reach your AR goal by March 7th, including 5 points nonfiction.

Please turn in Egyptian mask forms and $10 to me ASAP. Don't forget, we really need volunteers so please ask your parents if they can come in to help out February 14.

Reading Logs need to be completed each night. I am now collecting daily logs only Mondays. You must complete the logs each night with a signature from your mom or dad each night.

The 6th graders are participating in an exciting program that encourages children in grades K through 6 to read for fun.  Read to Succeed is a free program from Six Flags and Discovery Education.  Every student who completes six hours of recreational reading, before February 29th, is eligible for a free admission ticket at a participating Six Flags theme park.
Your child was also given a hard copy of the reading log today in class. Although it's not required, I encourage all students to participate in this free program that rewards them for reading for fun.
Again the deadline for this program is February 29th, therefore, your child must turn in his/her reading log no later than this date. Please let me know if you have any further questions.
Thank you in advance for your help and support!
