Hello! I am honored to be your student's 4th grade teacher here at
Crestview. Let me introduce myself. My educational background consists of
graduating from UC San Diego with my Multiple Subjects Credential. I received
my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Cal State Bakersfield.
I received my GATE teaching certificate from UC Santa Barbara. I have taught
grades K-8 in Northern and Central California for 18 years. I have been
teaching at Crestview for 5 years. I have a son and daughter who both
attended schools in the Lompoc USD (K-12). I love reading, running, skiing
(water and snow), and going to the theatre.
The mission of Crestview School, in partnership with the Vandenberg Air Force
Base community and Lompoc Unified School District, is to provide a positive
learning environment which encourages the development of the whole child. We
believe every child comes into the world with gifts waiting to be discovered
and nourished. It is our goal, as both parents and educators, to help each
child find and develop these gifts. In doing so, the children will come to
appreciate and value themselves, others, and the world in which we live.
