This is my 15th year of teaching, and my second year at Crestview. I really
enjoy this age group and love to see the progress students make during the
year. Learning cursive writing is very exciting for third graders. They also
memorize multiplication and division facts, research information and write
reports, and learn about local history. I especially enjoy linking our
learning to art projects whenever possible.
Prior to my teaching career, I worked for an aerospace company as an employee
relations and compensation representative.
I am married and have one son who attends Allan Hancock College. I love to
walk with my dog Judy, paint, read, cook, and garden.
I want students to love learning and to obtain mastery of third grade
standards and curriculum.
