Mr. Kiger has been teaching elementary school for 27 years. He received a
Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies from California State College
Bakersfield and a Masters of Arts in Education with an emphasis on Curriculum
and Instruction from California State University Bakersfield. He taught for
12 years at Cuyama Elementary School before coming to the Lompoc District.
He is married and has 4 sons, one dog and two cats. He enjoys travel,
biking, technology, and going to the theater with friends and family.
The mission of Crestview School, in partnership with the Vandenberg Air Force
Base community and Lompoc Unified School District, is to provide a positive
learning environment which encourages the development of the whole child. We
believe every child comes into the world with gifts waiting to be discovered
and nourished. It is our goal, as both parents and educators, to help each
child find and develop these gifts. In doing so, the children will come to
appreciate and value themselves, others, and the world in which we live.

Ensure that every child is working towards meeting GRADE LEVEL STANDARDS.
Teach MEGASKILLS so that every child is developing life-long learning
essentials.
