I earned my Bachelor of Arts of degree from University of California at Santa Barbara in 1987. I went
on to obtain my teaching credential from the same university. In 1988, I moved to Sonora to take a
position at Sonora High School. I worked there from 1988-1996 teaching U.S. History, World Cultures,
and English. In 1996 I stopped teaching to be at home with my four children. In 2003, I returned to
teaching at Curtis Creek School. I very much enjoy working with junior high students and hope to be
here for a long time. Other interests I have are traveling with my family, hanging out at the beach,
hiking, and reading.
I hope that students leave my class better equipped to continue learning their whole lifetime and with a
desire to do so.
