Hi! I am a local girl. I grew up in Allied Gardens and attended Foster Elementary, Lewis Junior High, and
Patrick Henry High School. I then attended SDSU and received a masters in reading along with a
credential for Reading Recovery. In my career with San Diego City Schools, I have taught first through
fifth grade. I love to teach young children to read and I enjoy teaching first grade. I am presently
attending classes to earn a certificate for District GATE Nurturing Scholars. I am learning more about
differentiating instruction and encouraging higher level thinking skills. I look forward to teaching your
child this year.
