Dear Parents,
If all goes well, we now have enough parent drivers for our field trip
Monday, October 26th. Thank you drivers!!! October's book report is Due
November 6th. Information and forms went home. This book report is free
choice. October 30th is a minimum day, also November 17, 18, 19, 2oth for
parent conferences. There is no school November 11th in honor of Veterans
day. November 23- 27th is Thanksgiving vacation.
I sent information home on a new exciting web site called Raz- kids.
It's an excellent reading on-line program geared to their personal reading
levels. Each kid received a blue card with log -on information and their
password. If you didn't get your's, please ask for another one. Almost all of
the kids have had a chance to explore it. I can track their reading on-line
and see who is reading books. You can use this as their home reading. Have
your child write RAZ kids and the minutes and what books they read. I also
FINALLY updated spelling city through November, Thanksgiving break. It's a
great site for spelling practice if your child needs more practice.
