When is homework assigned ?

Does homework count toward academic grades or just work habits ?

Every assignment (classwork and homework) is worth a certain
amount of
points toward your academic grade. So, it is important that all
assignments
be completed on time. Simply doing well on tests and quizzes will
not be
enough to pass this course.

When is the Science Showcase and do I have to participate in it ?

It is required that all students complete a science-related
Research or
volunteer Project. They may work with a partner, but it is
recommended that
they do it individually. The science-related research or
volunteer project
will be due in March of 2010.
